1. Registering a SIM card
To Register your SIMs, please click on the “Register SIM Batch” button on the “SIMs” panel. Enter the BIC code of the SIM or SIM batch and click “Verify BIC”.
Please consult also this Article: where i can find the BIC/BIC2 codes
On the next pop-up window, you will have the option to activate the single SIM or the entire SIM Batch. If you want to activate them, just Check "I want the SIM(s) to be activated now" and click “Confirm Registration”.
Note: Registered SIM, status "Issued" on the EUI, will not figure in the bill until activation Active SIM will be counted on the monthly bill
Note: Ticking this check box will activate all the SIMs from a SIM batch.
Finally, you can choose to immediately create Endpoints for each SIM you have just activated or click “No, I’ll create the endpoints myself” and do that later. For more information please have a look at “How to create an endpoint?”.
Assigning the SIM cards to an Endpoint is not mandatory after SIM cards delivery. However it is the easiest way to assign endpoints to the corresponding number of SIM cards.
Regarding the SIM monthly fee, it is only billed once the SIM is activated (either status moved from "Issued" or from "Suspended"). Now you can create endpoints for all your SIMs without any cost as long as they are not activated.
2. Activating / Suspending a SIM card
After you registered a SIM card, you always have the possibility to activate or suspend it. To do so, select a SIM card uner "SIMs". You can then click on "Suspend" or "Activate".
You also have the possibility to activate or suspend multiple SIM cards at once. To do so, read the article "How can I activate / suspend SIMs via API?"
