Recently, we introduced our multi-inclusive volumes feature allowing customers to manage different tariffs and data plans under a single account. Once these volumes have been enabled on your account, please ensure that your coverage policies have been adjusted correctly to take advantage of your new setup.
1. Sign in to your EMnify account and click on 'Device Policies' in the left-hand sidebar.
2. Scroll down to your Coverage Policies
You can either adjust your existing policies or create new ones. As you can see in the screenshots below, we have two inclusive volumes on this account. The first is 5 MB in Zone I on Global Extended, the second is 10 MB in Africa on our Regional Pro tariff.
3. Click 'Connected Devices' in the left-hand sidebar
To adjust devices individually see steps 4 and 5. To adjust multiple devices in bulk see steps 4B, 5B, and 6B listed afterwards.
4. Find your device and click 'DETAILS' on the right hand side
5. Adjust your devices 'Coverage Policy' to the corresponding inclusive volume you wish for it to use.
4B. Multiple devices can be selected at the same time by clicking the checkboxes to the left of the device name.
5B. Select "Change Coverage Policy" from the drop down menu titled "More" in the upper right-hand corner.
6B. Choose the Coverage Policy you wish to apply from the drop down menu and save.
In the examples above, the device(s) will now be assigned 5 MB on inclusive volume on the Global Extended tariff associated with 'Policy 1'.
When multiple inclusive volumes are configured on your account, you can update the rate assigned to one device within the month. Such changes have an impact on your monthly bill.
Change of included data
If you notice that one of your devices is using more or less data than planned, you can update its assigned 'inclusive volume' at anytime during the month. The change will be reflected on the invoice at the end of the month.
Example: In the screenshot below, I switch the device from 50MB included to 1GB included.
Change of Tariff
Change of Tariff, for example, from Global Basic Zone A to Regional pro Americas can be performed at any time in the month. At invoice creation we will check to which tariff the device is assigned to and will bill accordingly.
