You can easily create multiple endpoints in emnify within just a few seconds. Currently, you can create up to 500 connected devices at a time, but you can repeat the process multiple times and create thousands of devices within a few minutes.

If the SIMs are already assigned to your account:

1. Go to the "SIM Inventory" menu in the emnify portal
2. Apply the required filters to select the correct SIM cards. This can be either:
   1. Upload a CSV file containing the list of ICCID. You can upload a file with up to 10000 ICCID. You can only create 500 devices at the same time, but you can repeat this process multiple times
   2. Filter by SIM cards without a device assigned
3. Select the required SIMs (or all of them)
4. Click on "create devices"

A new dialog will open, where you need to enter a name, choose a service and coverage policy, and the status of the SIM (activated, suspended or factory test - if included in your plan). Other fields (tags, IMEI lock) are optional.

The format of the device name for the consecutive devices will be name -1, name -2, name -3, etc. Please remember that you can change the names of your devices easily.

All the devices will be created in a moment. You will see a confirmation message in the lower right corner of the portal.

If the SIMs are not assigned to your account:

In the "SIM inventory" menu, click on "register SIMs"

Locate the BIC code. If you purchased individual SIM cards or received an evaluation package, please use the BIC1 code printed on the frame of the SIM cards.

If you received a batch of 25 or 500 SIM cards, please use the BIC2 code printed in the packaging. You cannot register individual SIM cards if they are part of a batch. If you are having issues with the BIC codes, please read this article.

Once the SIM cards are registered, a new dialog will allow you to create the connected devices. If you choose not to create devices at this moment, you can create them later on following the first part of this article. If you choose to create the devices, a new window will open:
